Have you ever wondered what pro drift drivers do to relax? When not pitching high-horsepower, rear-drive cars sideways for fun and profit, how do these guys burn off steam?

If Ryan Tuerck is any indication, that downtime involves catching some local bands, knocking back a few Pabst Blue Ribbons as you shoot pool and hitting a run-down warehouse that just happens to have a concrete bowl inside for some BMX riding.

This video takes a while to get to the driving part, which comes in at around 2:30, but it quickly makes up for lost time. There’s a standard “Closed Course. Do Not Attempt.” warning, but that seems to be tempered by parked cars and oncoming traffic.

We also learn that a full-size Ram pickup isn’t nearly as nimble as a Nissan 240SX, especially on wet roads. Shortly after, Tuerck shows us the proper way to pound out dents from the inside of your car, something we’ve never learned from Ken Block or Vaughn Gittin, Junior.

How does Tuerck cap off his brief visit to Philadelphia? By drifting Philly’s FDR skate park, an activity that’s oddly excluded from any Philadelphia tourist guides we’ve ever seen. In fact, we’d probably pay money for the privilege, especially if we could rent a drift car (with liability insurance), too.
