The Circuit of the Americas is progressing toward completion quite nicely, as we showed you in a photo update just yesterday. Codemasters' F1 2012 video game was just released last month, though we got an early preview of the COTA track through the demo. Now we have the trifecta: Force India F1 driver Nico Hülkenberg lapping the circuit on a triple-screen simulator.

The simulator itself is a Vesaro modular system, and while the video leaves something on the table in the production quality department, it looks like a bonanza of force-feedback fun.

The track, even moreso than in previous videos, looks like a thorough test of an F1 car's capabilities, too, with ample hard braking zones, some fast sweepers, a handful of tight low-speed corners, and a couple of long, fast straights as well.

What was Hülkenberg's lap time? That, unfortunately, we don't know. But we only have to wait about six weeks to find out--in real life.
