The Palatov DP4 (renamed to D4 of late), if you aren't fully up to date on your track day esoterica, is one beastly little superkart of a machine, available in forms up to 300 horsepower with weights as low as 800 pounds. Oh, and it can be fitted with all-wheel drive.

To make things even more mental, the engine sits beside the driver, improving weight distribution. The whole thing is then wrapped in an aerodynamic body shell and topped with a wing for downforce. Yes, it looks like a lot of fun. This video shows that off well.

Best of all, it's part of a preview from Brian Makse at Sympatico.ca Autos that will tie in the real-world experience at Infineon with the simulated world of Simraceway and its new Palatov D4. Stay tuned for more.
