Kimi Raikkonen has conquered Formula 1 and raced in the World Rally Championship. So why not try his hand at NASCAR?
He'll be making his debut in the Perky Jerky truck this weekend in the Camping World Truck Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Raikkonen's team, ICE1RACING, has partnered with Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM), and KBM is running the number 15 Toyota Tundra that Raikkonen will drive on Friday.
The Finnish driver will be aiming to succeed in the NC Education Lottery 200, which has an 8 p.m. EST start under the Friday night lights. The race will be shown on SPEED TV.
For those who haven't heard of Perky Jerky, the company says that the idea for beef jerky spiked with guarana came about four years ago when the company's founders spilled an energy drink onto beef jerky and decided that it needed a boost.
Now, we have a new company sponsoring a new driver. Makes sense.
