The latest is news of a concept version being unveiled at next month’s 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
The new concept is the 2011 Suzuki Swift S-Concept, which is essentially the basic production version dressed up with some serious go-fast gear. The design of the Swift S-Concept follows the theme of “more sporty and exciting”, reflected by its stylish appearance with bold, accentuated bodywork design and rear roof spoiler.
Last sold in the U.S. in 2001, the Swift is primed for a return as CAFE standards and market pressures prepare the American public for a new breed of small cars. In fact, the small-car band wagon is piling high with automakers, including those from Detroit, with vehicles like the 2011 Ford Fiesta, 2011 Mazda2, and 2012 Chevrolet Sonic either in showrooms already or on their way.
More detailed information and images of the 2011 Suzuki Swift S-Concept will be available during the press days of the upcoming Geneva event, which kicks off on March 1. In the meantime, follow our complete coverage of the show by clicking here.
