MINI Takes The States rally
MINI has announced a new “MINI Takes The States” rally, which will kick off this August and allow thousands of fans to celebrate owning their iconic cars with fellow enthusiasts by joining a caravan across the country to Denver, Colorado.
The rally will see participants drive through a total of 19 states, covering more than 8,000 miles of road and is expected to bring together as many as 10,000 participants. It will culminate with a weekend-long festival of activities include live music festivals, driving challenges and a road rally in and around Denver.
All MINI owners are invited to register at www.minitakesthestates.com (beginning on May 18) to drive with the MINI team to Denver from one of five kickoff cities: Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York or San Francisco. Owners may also join the caravans as they make their way across the map; or they can spend a few hours at one of the many designated stops along the routes to meet other crazed MINI fans from across the country.
Not only is the event a celebration of all-things MINI, the rally will also raise funds for several charities including the American Red Cross and the Leukemia Society.
