In a scathing interview with Radio Marca in Spain, Fernando Alonso has called soon-to-retire Michael Schumacher "the most unsporting driver in the history of Formula One." He goes on to say that "[Zinedine] Zidane retired with more glory than Schumacher," and that “he has the largest number of sanctions in the history of Formula One.”

The statements come after Sunday’s race at Monza where Alonso’s Renault suffered a rare technical failure and Schumacher won the GP. Alonso also complained about a ruling given by the stewards that said he blocked Ferrari driver Filipe Massa during qualifying.

With Schumacher only two points behind in the championship, could this be Alonso simply having a big whine?
