Unlike most of the other displays from the Big Three, which are normally customized versions of regular production models, Chrysler will be unveiling its latest version of the Dodge Challenger Concept at this year’s SEMA Auto Show. Expected to go into production as a 2008 model, Chrysler has pumped up the popular concept car and has created the 392 HEMI Dodge Challenger Super Stock Concept. However, the star is actually the engine residing under that long bonnet.

Commemorating the original 1957 model year Chryslers and Imperials that featured the 392 HEMI engine, the new motor will be sold separate to the car as an after market crate engine. Complete with 540hp and 490lb.-ft of torque, the new motor will be available to performance enthusiasts from Mopar in the following months.
