Bentley has reported an increase in its global sales volume for the fourth straight year in a row, with turnover and operating profits also reaching record levels. Back in February we reported that Bentley was easily outpacing rivals Maybach and Rolls-Royce in the sales race and official data released today shows that sales for the first half of the year are up a further 18.8% over last year’s results.

For the first six months of the year, Bentley delivered more than 5,600 vehicles and took in more than €739 million in revenue, 24% higher than last year. Final profit for the period stood at €85 million.

Most of the increase was brought about by the opening of showrooms in rapidly expanding markets such as Russia and China, where not so long ago ultra-expensive cars like Bentley and Rolls-Royce were unheard of.
