Subaru will be displaying several concepts and new models at next month’s Frankfurt Motor Show, including the WRC Concept based on the all-new Impreza. On hand at the show will be Masatsugu Nagato, Subaru’s Chief in Europe, as well as Subaru World Rally Team driver Petter Solberg.

The new WRC concept car gives us a preview of what to expect for the new STI version of the Impreza, and is almost identical to the car that will be entered into next season's World Rally.

The recently revealed third-generation Impreza will be making its European debut, with both 1.5L and 2.0L versions on show. Subaru will also launch its updated Tribeca SUV that’s set to go on sale in Europe by the end of the year. The third new model on display will be the Justy minicar manufactured under a partnership with Daihatsu.

Also making an appearance is Subaru’s new horizontally opposed turbodiesel engine that will be launched across Europe next year. The new diesel will be displayed alongside Subaru’s R1e electric vehicle that’s already on sale in Japan as part of the carmaker’s commitment to developing environmentally friendly technologies.
