2009 Saab 9-3
The affected cars are those built from June 2010 through to December 2010. Saab claims that certain fuel pumps installed as original equipment may have internal components with incorrect specifications. Those faulty fuel pumps can cause an engine to stall, which obviously increases the risk of a crash.
Saab will be notifying owners of the affected vehicles from next month onwards. The official safety recall is scheduled to begin on February 18.
