Ford Australia is teaming up with its stable of racing car drivers to test the fuel advantages of its LPG Falcon. The 23-day trial to travel around Australia for around $1000 will take in all mainland states, covering more than 13,000 kilometres in a single fuel LPG Falcon. Ford Australia President Tom Gorman will wave off the 'Ford LPG Challenge' from Ford's head office in Campbellfield on Thursday, August 3.

A dedicated website –www.ford.com.au/landing/lpgchallenge – will follow the Ford LPG Challenge, with regular updates from around the country. Ford is doing this to highlight the benefits of LPG model Falcons, which are cheaper to run than their petrol drinking brothers.
