Though Aston Martin has been getting most of the glory as one of the biggest automotive turnarounds, fellow British carmaker Bentley has gone from building just under 1000 cars in 2003 to over 10,000 this year.

The big seller has been the Continental GT, which is favored amongst rap stars, NBA players, footballers, and Russian “biznesmen.” With the recent launch fo the Flying Spur, and the forthcoming Arnage, they don’t seem to slowing down either.

Douglas Dickson, Member of the Board for Manufacturing said Bentley will continue to produce exclusive cars that our customers ask for, which could be alluding to a new model. Bentley has said it will continue to concentrate on the US (where it sells 45% of its output), Russia, China, the Middle-East, and Japan. An expansion to South America is also on the cards.
