Expect to see at least 300hp (224kW) and 450Nm of torque developed by the car’s 2.0L turbocharged boxer engine. Subaru will also be using its traditional symmetrical AWD system and a conventional six-speed manual. There’s no word if STI engineers will be able to match Mitsubishi’s new Evo with their own dual-clutch gearbox.
You can catch even more of the new STI by checking out some spy shots of the car testing at the Nurburgring that we posted earlier this month.
