Going 0-60 mph in under 4.5 seconds and hitting 155 mph isn't all that special these days--there are family sedans that do it. But doing it with a diesel-hybrid roadster is somewhat special, and doing it in the style of the Audi e-tron Spyder is completely unique. This quick video details the e-tron Spyder's powertrain and technology.
A 300-horsepower V-6 TDI engine powers the rear axle, while a pair of electric motors drive the front wheels with 64 kW of power. Best of all for those with carbon consciousness, the e-tron Spyder can run on electricity alone for up to 31 miles at speeds up to 37 mph.
