Land Rover is set to launch a high-performance version of its Range Rover Sport for the first time, and we have a new set of spy shots of a prototype. The vehicle is expected to adopt R-S badging and will likely have around 550 horsepower on tap.

Volvo is reportedly planning to bring back its V90 label for a new luxury wagon that will replace the V70 in the Swedish automaker’s lineup. Styling for the vehicle is said to be based on Volvo’s stunning Concept Estate shooting brake.

SRT boss Ralph Gilles has confirmed that the Viper GTS-R race car won’t be competing in the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year. No reason has been given though it’s likely due to SRT wanting to focus on races back home.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
