Unveiled back in 2010 in stunning Alitalia livery, the New Stratos brought one of the most iconic of classic rally car designs into the modern era--and based it on the solid foundation of Ferrari F430 underpinnings. But Ferrari quickly put a stop to further production.

Despite that fact, the team behind the New Stratos, the Stoschek brothers, have kept on with the car, getting what enjoyment and use they can out of it. Most recently, the car saw time at the Rallye Isla Mallorca, captured on course and in the paddock in this video.

Seeing the car in action as it was meant to be makes us all the more disappointed there won't be more of them around.

    Fab vid, must have been a very testy but fulfilling experience for the driver especially that Stratos is a one-off.
    Pity Fiat/Ferrari didn't let Lancia build it in small numbers.
