New York Yankees 2010 Ford Mustang GT

A one-of-a-kind 2010 Ford Mustang GT known as the "New York Yankees Mustang," is up for auction. The car has been created to celebrate the opening of a new stadium for the famous baseball team and it even features the signature of Derek Jeter on its dashboard.

In addition to the signature, the car is also decked out in a Yankees pinstripe paint job and features the team’s logo. It was originally offered as a Tri-State Sweepstakes prize and it has less than 1,000 miles on the odometer.

Based on the 2010 Ford Mustang GT Convertible, the car also packs a 4.6-liter V-8, an automatic transmission, interior blue lighting throughout, 19-inch alloy wheels, keyless entry, leather trim, and a cold air induction system.

The online only auction ends Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 8pm eastern. For more information on registering to bid in this auction, visit www.aarbids.com. Last we checked, the current bid was $28250.

  5. Hi Guy's,
the Mustang is weak. For the amount of horsepower they put out, they get blown away by most foreign competitors offering lower horsepower. And I live in New York and still think the car is tremendously ugly. Sure it competes with domestic autos like the camaro and challenger, but there are more auto companies than just chevy to compete with.
