Unlike most of the concepts being unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show today, Honda’s new Accord Tourer Concept actually gives us a glimpse of what to expect for a new production model. The face of the new Accord Tourer will be shared with the next-generation Accord Euro/TSX, due to hit the market by the middle of next year.

The all-new Accord will be powered by a range of advanced, low emissions engines, and will be one of the first cars to offer an entirely Euro 5-compliant engine line-up. Two petrol engines of 2.0L and 2.4L capacities and a 2.2L diesel engine mirror those in the current Accord range, but power output will be boosted and emissions and fuel economy significantly improved as well.

Debuting in the new concept is Honda’s next-gen i-DTEC clean diesel, which features direct-injection technology efficient exhaust gas recirculation and a diesel particulate filter. Production versions of the new Accord will debut in Saloon and Tourer forms at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show.

    Bad stuff?

  2. I can see it is based on the Sport 4 concept but it looks nothing like Sport 4... wondering what is going wrong. Honda better find the missing bit before it hits the showroom.
