The Corvette ZR-1’s debut is one of the most hotly anticipated in recent times. The new super-’Vette couldn’t come too soon for fans who see the new Nissan GT-R as a serious threat to GM’s performance-per-dollar crown. Fortunately for its fans, it looks like the ZR-1 is getting close to reality, as a nearly completely undisguised production-looking car hit the track at Laguna Seca for some hot laps back in October.
