Chrysler's flagship sedan will receive a mild styling nip-and-tuck for the 2017 model year highlighted by a pair of styling packages for its interior and exterior.

The Sport Appearance Packages are offered separately for both the interior and the exterior of the full-size four-door, which was last mildly updated for the 2015 model year after being redesigned for 2012. This latest styling group follows up on the recent 300 Alloy Edition.

The Exterior Sport Appearance Package comes standard with the V-8 engine and is optional with the V-6. It adds a redesigned front fascia with integrated LED fog lamps composed of a strip of eight horizontal LEDs plus revised side sills and a rear spoiler mounted to the trunk lid. Special 19- (all-wheel-drive models) or 20-inch (rear-wheel-drive models) alloy wheels complete the appearance upgrade.

Select the Interior Sport Appearance Package and you'll receive perforated leather trim for the seat centers and suede bolsters. The package also includes heated and ventilated seats.

Regardless of package, the 300S trim level stands apart for 2017 with new piano black-style trim for its dashboard and a new Ceramic Gray exterior paint color.

Chrysler is yet to announce pricing or an on-sale date for the 2017 300S or its two new packages, but it's safe to assume that they'll all hit the market sometime in the second half of this year.
