Most readers will likely be unfamiliar with the name Zenvo. That’s because the name belongs to a relatively new Danish supercar manufacturer whose first model, the ST1, will be produced in a limited run of just 15 cars in the coming year and priced from about $1,271,000.

If you missed our previous story, the Zenvo STI will come powered by a turbocharged and supercharged 7.0-liter V-8 engine with a monstrous 1,104 horsepower and 1,056 pound-feet of torque on tap.

According to a source at Zenvo, the Danish firm is planning a smaller and more affordable supercar due in the next three years. This second model is currently undergoing extensive development and will feature a completely unique platform, though much of the ST1’s aggressive styling will carry over.

Beyond that, the source revealed that Zenvo planning two additional supercars that are likely to be based on the STI and even more extreme--similar to how Lamborghini has the basic Murcielago and the additional LP640 and Reventon models.

All three models are expected to feature the ST1’s 7.0-liter V-8 engine in varying states of tune.

It looks like it’s only a matter of time before the Zenvo name can be mentioned in the same breath as the likes of Pagani and Bugatti.
