Mercedes-Benz is working on a new modular platform for its next-generation SL and SLC sports cars. It’s been reported that the engineers at Mercedes-AMG have been recruited to enhance the sporty characteristics of the platform.

Following the fatal crash in May of a Model S driven in Autopilot mode, Tesla [NSDQ:TSLA] has finally announced an update for the semi-autonomous driving aid. Instead of prioritizing data sent from a camera, the updated system will rely more on radar for sensing its environment.

Infiniti’s second-generation Q60 is finally ready for its market debut. The handsome coupe is offered with turbocharged 4- and 6-cylinder engines, though it’s only the latter you’ll want.
