Volvo is going after the German mid-size luxury sedans and wagons with its new S90 and V90 duo. We’ve driven them back-to-back and have come away thoroughly impressed. They’re genuinely stylish, different, and rather enchanting. The S90 arrives this year as a 2017 model while the V90 arrives next year as a 2018 model.

There’s a new Transformers movie in the works and today we got a look at one of the vehicles that will serve as the alternative mode for the Decepticon Barricade. The vehicle is a sinister-looking cop car based on the sixth-generation Ford Motor Company [NYSE:F] Mustang.

Mercedes-Benz has given us a first look at its modular platform that will underpin its next-generation electric cars. The cars are expected to offer more than 300 miles of range and high-speed DC charging. The first one will be previewed later this year as a concept.

You'll find all of these stories and more in today's car news, right here at Motor Authority.
