With the 100th anniversary of the Pikes Peak Hill Climb just weeks away, here's a video out of Lebanon to whet your appetite. It shows a Mitsubishi Evo rally car making all the pops, growls, and snarls we want to see from a dedicated rally car.

Lebanese rally driver Roger Feghali was on his home turf earlier this month when he took to the storied Arsoun Hill Climb behind the wheel of his Lancer Evo VI. Feghali's day job is modifying cars in Beirut for rally use, so it shouldn't come as a tremendous surprise that his driving skills are up to par as well.

The local favorite was victorious on the June 6 stage.

As for Pikes Peak, the race enters its 100th year—but not its 100th consecutive running since it has been interrupted by war previously—this year. One of the biggest announcements so far for the race up America's most famous mountain is that Acura will enter a prototype based on its new NSX supercar powered by four electric motors. The NSX marks the Japanese firm's biggest effort yet at taming the 14er's thin air at the summit since electric cars don't lose any power compared to those with internal combustion engines. Another team will even be fielding a Tesla Motors [NSDQ:TSLA] Model S this year.

The 2016 Pikes Peak Hill Climb is scheduled for June 26.
