Fourth-generation Toyota Supras are known for being capable of making some big power, which in turn translates to incredibly quick quarter mile times, but the version featured in this video is simply off the scales. It’s the work of Bahrain-based Ekanoo Racing, and it has just run the quarter mile in 6.05 seconds and hit a trap speed of 240 mph!

That makes Ekanoo’s Supra the world’s fastest. According to Bold Ride (via Yahoo Autos), the car, which is nicknamed the Outlaw, was driven by American Gary White who was taking part in the recent Bahrain National Drag Racing Championship.

Unfortunately we don’t have many details on the build. The engine is reportedly a heavily-worked 2JZ and drive is sent rearward via a five-speed transmission.
