Vertu, the independent luxury phone company originally started by Nokia, will work closely with Bentley to develop a series of smartphones that feature the design, craftsmanship and contemporary elegance Bentley’s lineup of cars are renowned for. Vertu has worked with automakers in the past, including Ferrari, but now it’s entered an exclusive five-year partnership with Bentley.

The first ‘Vertu for Bentley’ phone is planned for launch in October. It will be followed by four further units, each of which will encompass authentic and iconic Bentley design elements and luxury lifestyle services. There will be special experiences offered for owners of actual Bentley vehicles, while special content and apps will be included for fans of the brand.

Vertu says the new phones will feature elegant, eye-catching designs as well as premium materials in their construction. The phones will also be designed under the Vertu ethos of a ‘one world phone’ to ensure that owners have the optimum setup for peerless coverage no matter what region they’re in.
