How much do you think it would cost to build your own replica of the Tumbler from the Christopher Nolan-directed Batman films? I for one would be placing my bets in the low six-figure range. If I paid that much, I would apparently be overpaying because an enterprising young man in China is able to recreate a rolling version of the Tumbler for just over $11,000.

His name is Li Weilei, and he's a prop maker by trade. Using scrap metal, Weilei is able to churn out a replica Tumbler that rolls, though there is no drivetrain. Still, that doesn't stop folks from wanting to rent out this rolling display.

In fact, Li states that he is earning between $10,000 and $11,000 per month in revenue from his newly formed Tumbler rental business. It might not match the real-deal movie version of the Tumbler is every detail, but it's clearly convincing enough for quite a few people. Seems like paying between $11,000 and $16,000 for a Li Weilei-built replica Tumbler might not be just a bad business investment, considering the profit it's capable of generating.
