The Ford Mustang officially turns 50 tomorrow, and to get the celebrations started the Blue Oval has unveiled a new 50th anniversary model based on the latest 2015 Mustang. Only 1,964 examples of the 50th anniversary Mustang will be built, all of them based on the V-8-powered Mustang GT fastback coupe.

Mazda hasn’t revealed its 2016 MX-5 Miata just yet, but we have been treated with a look at its internals. On show this week in New York is the next-gen MX-5’s new SkyActiv chassis.

Mercedes-Benz tuner AMG is solidifying its position as a standalone sports car manufacturer with the development of its second model, the GT, which has been confirmed for a fall debut. Right now, however, we have a look at the car’s sweet interior.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
