A senior Ferrari exec has confirmed that work has commenced on the LaFerrari XX, an experimental version of the Ferrari flagship designed strictly for the track. It’s due to be revealed in early 2015, suggesting we’ll see it at the next Geneva Motor Show.

Land Rover has previewed the look of its new Discovery family of models with the Discovery Vision concept car debuting tomorrow at the 2014 New York Auto Show. The Discovery family will include the replacements for the LR2 and LR4 models as well as some additional models.

Bentley has started work on what’s likely to be a road-going version of its Continental GT3 race car. Bentley already has the sporty Continental GT V8 S, but a model closer in spirit to its Continental GT3 race car could enable more of the motorsport magic to be transferred to the road car division.

You'll find all of this and more in today's car news headlines from around the High Gear Media network, right here at Motor Authority.
