Nissan Bought The Maxima From That Brilliant Craigslist Ad, Now Tell Them What To Do With It

Follow Nelson

If you missed the brilliant Craigslist video ad by Luke Aker of Ikonik Films for his (rather heavily) used 1996 Nissan Maxima, watch it now. Then keep reading, because Nissan USA has re-purchased the car from Aker for $1,400, and they want your suggestions on what to do with it.

That's right, Nissan is putting the question of how they should handle the car to Motor Authority's readers exclusively.

Should the Maxima be restored? Donated to charity? Launched across a stadium on a trebuchet? All of the above? Something completely different?

Put your creative hat on, think of the most awesome thing Nissan could do with the Maxima, and share your idea--it might just be the one that gets picked.

Submit your suggestions for the Maxima in the comments below, and Nissan will read each one, choosing its favorite handful, which we'll then re-submit to you for a vote. If you'd rather submit your suggestion on our Facebook page, you can do that, too.

You can follow Nissan's own updates about the Maxima project on Twitter and Facebook.
