Volvo has been dropping hints over the past few days about a big new collaboration it was planning. Today, the automaker has announced that international DJ sensation Swedish House Mafia has created a unique music video for an unreleased version of its hit song Leave the World Behind, and that the new video and song will form part of a global advertising campaign for the latest 2014 XC60 crossover.

Swedish House Mafia, made of up DJs Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso, is releasing the song as part of their farewell, having hosted their final gig together at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Florida, in March of this year.

Volvo, which sees its XC60 as the ideal vehicle for leaving your everyday life behind and escaping to something more pleasurable, is hoping to form a connection with the group in a relevant and credible way for its new ad campaign.

Of course, there is also the connection of their heritage. As you may have guessed by the name, the Swedish House Mafia originated in Stockholm, Sweden.

The new campaign officially kicks off around 2:30 p.m. Eastern time. We’ll update the story with the full video as soon as it is released.
