Subaru will be giving a preview of its future crossover model with a new concept car at next month’s 2013 Geneva Motor Show.

The new concept is the Viviv, which Subaru says will showcase the latest evolution of its styling language as well as some of its upcoming technologies.

A sole teaser image reveals a sharp-edged crossover with similar styling to that found on 2009’s Subaru Hybrid Tourer concept, which itself is said to preview the replacement for the WRX.

Subaru hasn’t mentioned if its Viviv previews the replacement for its Tribeca crossover, but given the size of the vehicle it’s entirely possible.

Key features include a trapezoidal grille, slit headlights with LED elements, and an ‘A-wing’ front spoiler.

Also in Geneva, Subaru will unveil its Outback Boxer Diesel fitted with a CVT (it was previously only available with a manual). The car features Subaru’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine, which is rated at 147 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.

Unfortunately, the automaker hasn't said whether this model will be offered in the U.S.

Press days for the 2013 Geneva Motor Show commence March 5. For our ongoing coverage of the event, click here.
