The Mk VII Volkwagen Golf is nearing fruition, due to debut at the 2012 Paris Auto Show--and it will have a Golf R variant, as our latest spy shots show.

Mazda has taken the wraps off its MX-5 GT4, a 320-horsepower turbocharged track-dedicated special still weighs in at just over 2,200 pounds despite the added roll cage.

BMW has launched its DriveNow and ParkNow urban mobility scheme in San Francisco, allowing users to share electric cars and have a guaranteed parking spot when they get where they're going--both aiming to reduce congestions and speed up city commutes.
