From the same magazine containing alleged images of the production Toyota FT-86/Scion FR-S sports car, as well as a Toyota Modellista enhanced version, comes a new set of images, this time showing a range of TRD accessories for the car.

TRD, short for Toyota Racing Development, is Toyota's official in-house tuner and in the past has created such specials as the Tacoma TRD T/X Baja Series and custom Lexus IS F.

According to the latest leaked images, which have been posted on the Web by enthusiast forum FT86club, TRD will offer some pretty aggressive aero accessories.

Some of the items will include a new front bar, sporty side skirts, an aggressive rear diffuser, and a bootlid spoiler.

These will be in addition to items hidden under the car’s new sheet metal, such as adjustable suspension, uprated brakes, high-flow exhaust systems, sports intakes, special oil coolers, and lightweight forged alloy wheels.

With TRD planning a host of upgrades for the FT-86, and Subaru virtually confirming that an STI version of its sports car will be developed following the unveiling of yesterday’s striking BRZ STI concept, it looks performance fans have a lot to look forward to.
