The 2013 Lexus GS 350 F Sport was already
technically shown off in South Africa
, and today Lexus has dropped another handful of images and some new details on the car, but the full, official unveiling won't happen until the 2011 SEMA show.
It's a lot of drawn-out drama for what is essentially an appearance and brake kit for a luxury family sedan, but Lexus fans being the loyalists they are probably don't mind.
So what'll you get with your F Sport package on a 2013 GS 350? Up-sized 19-inch wheels and tires in staggered widths, variable gear ratio steering, thicker anti-roll bars, higher-friction brake pads on larger front brakes, "F Sport-tuned" adaptive suspension settings, and some interior upgrades including a 16-way power driver's seat and exclusive red leather upholstery. The full preliminary details on the new F Sport package can be found on page two.
We'll be on hand for the official unveiling, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. November 1 in Las Vegas, so stay tuned for live photos.
