We're finally getting some more RS loving from Audi, and it's coming in the svelte form of the 2012 RS5. Sure, we'll have to wait until next year, but for now, we have these live images of the car from the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show.

With a 450-horsepower, 4.2-liter V-8, quattro all-wheel drive, and a much racier take on the A5's stunning silhouette, there's every reason to wait for the car's 2012 arrival, too, though none of those facts make the wait any easier.

The RS5 will join the TT RS as our only points of entry into the hottest of Audi's lines, though there's always the R8 V-10 if you're really jonesing for a German all-wheel-drive sports car fix.
