2012 Hyundai Veloster Mega-Gallery

Follow Viknesh

We first saw the new 2012 Hyundai Veloster back at the Detroit Auto Show in January, but the car is now finally ready for primetime and to whet your appetite here’s a boatload of new images.

The biggest draw card for the Veloster is its funky quartet of doors. Hyundai calls it a three-door vehicle, but the Veloster has four doors in all, counting the hatchback, the driver-side door, and the pair of doors on its passenger side.

Under the hood is a 1.6-liter direct-injected four-cylinder engine that develops 138 horsepower and 123 pound-feet of torque, and is mated to Hyundai’s first dual clutch transmission in some versions. A six-speed manual is also available for those who like to shift their own gears.

  1. Butt ugly............

  2. Now the Murano Cross Cabrio has a dancing partner. Both are simply butt ugly.

  3. Personally I find it to be decidedly opposite of butt ugly. I think it looks great!

  4. Same here. I like everything, except the grille. Overall though, it reminds of a nice French car, which is good since we don't get any over here.
