We were the first to bring you news of AMS Performance's Alpha 12 Nissan GT-R, with its brutal 1,318 horsepower at the wheels, capable of rocketing from 60 to 130 mph in a mere 3.46 seconds. Now we have footage of the car cutting a record-setting run down the quarter mile breaking into 8-second territory.
With 35 psi of boost pressure running through the heavily modified GT-R, the engine is trying desperately to turn itself into a very large shrapnel bomb, but the build and tune from AMS Performance keep it all running as it becomes the first GT-R to dip into the 8s.
