Jeep JK-8 Independence pickup conversion package

Pickups aren't really our thing here at MotorAuthority, but once in a while one comes along that's just too cool to resist. The Jeep Wrangler JK-8 Independence conversion kit is a great example.


When I was a kid, one of my favorite uncles had a late-model J-Series pickup and it was one of my favorite vehicles. It still is.

While the JK-8 conversion package, based on the current Wrangler Unlimited, isn't exactly a throwback to the J-Series, it does share some of the same spirit. It's not cheap or easy to install--the package starts at $5,499 and will involve many hours of labor to install at your local dealer--but it's well worth it.

    This is simply fantastic, Jeep has needed to do this for years!
    However, I see no link for a page 2...?
