2011 BMW X3 M Sports Package leak

Less than 48 hours after the reveal of the all-new 2011 BMW X3 comes the first images and details for the compact SUV’s latest M Sports Package assortment of goodies. Giving the already sporty X3 an even more dynamic look thanks to some distinct M styling cues, the package also comprises components that have been specifically adapted to match the vehicle’s suspension, aerodynamics, and exterior and interior design.

For the interior, the package comes with a multifunction leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles, as well as variable sports steering and a custom gear selection lever. A new option pack includes front sport seats with Pearlpoint cloth-leather upholstery and an Anthracite roof liner.

The exterior, meanwhile, is enhanced with a full bodykit that includes new side skirts, modified wheel arches and more aggressive bumpers, as well as custom roof rails and windows surrounds. Also available for the new X3 is an optional Carbon Black metallic paint finish, newly designed 19 inch wheels and a sports suspension.

Unfortunately, while the new 2011 BMW X3 will go on sale at the end of the year, its new M Sports Package won’t be available until the second quarter of 2011.

  1. Looks beautiful and functional! Nicest ride I've seen since the Jag XKE! I must be a soccer mom! Still I love it!

    Bad stuff?

  2. Not bad! Makes me wonder if we'll ever see a full M version of the X3, since BMW have set a precedent with the X5/X6M? BMW will probably claim that won't happen, but they also said there wouldn't be M versions of any SUVs and vehemently denied a 1-series M until recently.
