Infiniti today announced pricing on the 2009 G37 Sedan and G37 Coupe, which go on sale at Infiniti dealers across the United States on the fifth of next month. Both cars receive extensive revisions for the new model year, especially the G37 Sedan which picks up the award-winning 3.7L V6 that debuted in the Coupe last year.

The price for the 2009 Infiniti G37 Sedan with a seven-speed automatic transmission starts at $33,250. The previous 2008 G35 Sedan with a five-speed auto was listed at $31,600. Pricing for the G37 Coupe, on the other hand, starts at $35,900. The 2008 Coupe was listed from $34,250. Adding the carmaker’s ATESSA E-TS intelligent all-wheel drive system for the G37x Coupe bumps the price up to $38,700.

The new seven-speed auto features Drive Sport (DS) mode and comes with Adaptive Shift Control (ASC). The 3.7L V6 is rated at 328hp (245kW) and comes with Variable Valve Event and Lift (VVEL) technology. Six-speed manual transmissions are also available.

Other changes include newly available sport brakes, a new 18in wheel design and standard Scratch Shield self-healing paint.

Next month Infiniti will take the wraps off the third addition to the G37 lineup – the all-new G37 Convertible, which you can see a preview of by clicking here. The stylish cabrio is set to make its world debut at the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show but isn’t set to go on sale until early next year.
