With the release of cars like the BMW M4, Cadillac ATS-V Coupe and Lexus RC F, it’s easy to forget that Audi has a formidable performance coupe of its own—the RS 5. The car packs a naturally-aspirated 4.2-liter V-8 that delivers 450 horsepower and can rocket the svelte two-door from 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds, and if you like you can also get it as a convertible.

Now, Audi has sweetened the deal with a special edition model. Offered exclusively as a coupe, the new special edition, which is called the RS 5 Coupe Sport, is being limited to just 75 units, all of them for the U.S. market.

It was developed with the Audi Exclusive personalization department and comes in several unique paint finishes. Other enhancements include custom 20-inch wheels, brake calipers painted red, and an interior lined with Fine Nappa leather. There are also dash accents that match the exterior, leather trim for the door innards, and contrast stitching.

All RS 5s come with a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. The latter features a crown-gear center differential that can direct engine torque front to rear. It works in conjunction with electronic torque vectoring between the wheels of the same axle, helping to further improve handling and stability at the limit. The top speed of the RS 5 is limited to 174 mph.

The RS 5 Coupe Sport is being offered for the 2015 model year, with pricing starting at $87,575.
