At a recent press event Toyota demonstrated its new "Integrated Safety Management Concept" to showcase the company’s safety innovations. The event, held at the famous Fuji Speedway race track, was broken down into five different categories, which included Parking, Active safety, Pre-Crash Safety, Passive Safety and Emergency Response.

The majority of cars displayed were of the Lexus variety, namely the soon to be released IS 460. New technologies that were tested included a Rear-End Pre-Crash Safety System, Intelligent Parking Assist as well as lane keeping and distance warning aides. Toyota’s goal is to one day have crash free vehicles and is working hard to reach that point.

  1. Accident free is out of the question, in my opinion these technologies dont do anything good for the driver, the drivers will only get worst because they depend on some tech to help them drive
