Godzilla is back and better than ever. Nissan’s Skyline series have always been fantastic cars (we should know, one of our team members owns one) and the brand new sports coupe coming in 2008 is expected to be better than the Porsche 911 around a track. Here’s a spy video from WorldCarFans showing what it’s capable of around the Nurburgring.

  3. I would say the GT-2 in 2005 is as stock as the GT-R who claims the 7:29 imho. the GT-R isn`t slow, but that whole thing is mainly about raising attention for sales and putting the brand into the spotlight. A small tuner beat a GT-R with an old 996 platform and a few (street legal) modifications before it was even born, imagine what Porsche could do to a brandnew GT-R with it with their 3 year old 997 platform and a few upgrades? they could, but i don`t think they feel challenged enough, not even worth a discussion. it´s all about raising attention, nobody will talk about the GT-R in 10 years. but people will still dream about a 911 in a hundred.
