The new Dodge Challenger isn’t set to go on sale until after it makes its world debut at the Chicago Auto Show in February next year - although the first copies will be auctioned off on eBay for charity – but images of the final production car have now turned up on an internet forum. As expected the car remains true to the concept in almost every facet except for a few minor changes involving the tail lights and bumpers.

The car was displayed at a Chrysler dealer announcement in Las Vegas last week and these images were posted up on OntarioStreetCar. According to the person who took the pics, the car was sporting a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual gearbox and the future engine lineup will include a 3.5L V6 and two HEMI V8s displacing 5.7 and 6.1L. The high-performance SRT8, of which there will be only 5,500 units built will only be available with a five-speed auto and will cost around $38,000.

The changes between this and the concept consist of a new design for the taillights, a thicker B-pillar and a more rounded bumper with a deeper port for the license plate.
