First 3 Dodge Challengers to be auctioned for charity

December 31st, 1969 Fans of the Dodge Challenger who hope to be among the first in the world to park the retro-styled muscle car on their driveway better be willing to pay a premium because the first three cars are destined to be auctioned for charity. The cars will all be 2008 model Dodge Challenger SRT8 versions, decked out in HEMI orange paint and running a 6.1L V8 mated to a five-speed auto. Dodge Challenger number one will help raise funds for the notMYkid charity in mid-January next year. The second car will be sold later in the year to help the United Way of Southeastern Michigan organization and the third will be sold via eBay for an as yet unannounced group. If you miss out on one of these three cars, you’ll have to wait until the new Challenger officially hit showrooms following its world debut at the Chicago Auto Show in February next year.

  1. That is a very good looking car.
I can't wait to see the first one painted in General Lee livery (I know, it's not the same model, but it would sure be fun)... :)
