Cadillac will present a modified version of its still-new CTS saloon at this week’s SEMA Auto Show in Las Vegas, developed to emphasize the car’s performance character. For their latest work, Cadillac’s designers have kept the chrome to a minimum and have instead gone with a sporty carbon-fiber theme.

The show car includes new front and rear fascias, a modified hood, rear spoiler and 20in forged alloy wheels. The front fenders feature carbon-fiber extractors, while both the front and rear bumpers get carbon fiber and wire mesh inserts. Up back are new clear lens taillights and a subtle rear deck spoiler.

Performance is derived from a production-spec 304hp 3.6L direct-injection V6 that exhales through a Corsa high-flow exhaust system with 3.5in tailpipes. Other performance upgrades include uprated brakes with painted calipers and drilled and slotted rotors.

The cabin gets sporty Recaro seats clad with leather, a BlueConnect Bluetooth system integrated into the headliner and several carbon-fiber interior trim pieces.
