We’ve already pointed out what separates the latest 2015 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS from the standard Carrera, but here’s a great visual representation direct from the German sports car marque. It shows the new Carrera GTS being put through its paces at the Porsche Experience Center at Silverstone in the U.K., whose dedicated track has just been extended with even more challenging sections.

Porsche’s GTS line of cars are aimed at buyers seeking something sportier than the regular line, in this case the Carrera and Carrera S, but aren’t quite ready to hop into the hardcore GT3- or Turbo-badged cars. Power is bumped up a little, some mild track-focused mods are added, and electronic suspension and torque vectoring systems installed.

The end result is a 911 that’s reasonably quick around a track but comfortable and refined enough to drive every day. If this sounds good to you, head down to your local Porsche dealer as the car is already available for sale. Pricing starts at $115,195 for the Carrera GTS coupe and $127,095 for the convertible. Rear-wheel drive is standard on both but all-wheel drive is available and adds $6,700 to the sticker. There's also a Targa 4 GTS, which comes standard with all-wheel drive and is priced from $133,795. All prices mentioned include Porsche’s $995 destination fee.
