The vehicle pictured is an early prototype of the Vision EfficientDynamics supercar and it was spotted in Vancouver, Canada on the set of the fourth installment of the Mission Impossible franchise, Mission Impossible: The Ghost Protocol.
We’re not sure what role the car will play in the movie but a host of other supercars were also sighted on set, including a Porsche Carrera GT, Lamborghini Murcielago, Ferrari 458 Italia, Lotus Evora, Maserati Quattroporte, Ferrari 599 GTB and Porsche 911 GT3.
The Vision EfficientDynamics isn’t the only BMW expected to feature in the new movie; late last year we reported that the new 2012 BMW 6-Series Convertible would also make an appearance during several car-chase action sequences.
Mission Impossible: The Ghost Protocol, starring Tom Cruise, is scheduled to be released later this year. Filming is currently taking place at locations in Dubai, the UK, and Canada.
